Biography

John began his career in the Motion Control business 35 years ago. During that time, he successfully led the sales and marketing efforts for 2 industry leading manufacturers. In 2000, John became the President of Minarik, leading both the nationwide distributor of Motion Control and Automation products division and the manufacturer of low HP DC drives division. Working with a solid group of associates on the distribution side, Minarik grew steadily and became nationally recognized for providing customer oriented solutions by applying technically oriented products and custom systems solutions. In 2008, John acquired Minarik Drives and successfully ran and expanded that company until it was sold in 2015. Today, John is consulting for companies interested in growing their sales programs, developing channel strategies or enhancing their strategic direction. John is serving on a couple of Boards and has served as a board member of MCA, MCMA and A3 and also served as the MCA President for 2 years.
