Biography

The only way a company coasts is down hill. This straightforward philosophy has guided John for over 20 years as a senior level executive and transformative strategist. Advocating real change in his organizations, John has become well known throughout the optics, photonics, and vision markets as a leader who can see past the next quarterly goal to the long-term value of an organization. John's strong cross functional experience in engineering, marketing, manufacturing and strategic planning has also taught him that a strong P&L and company culture does more than pay the bills and create focus, it provides the freedom to achieve something great! Working in both private and public sectors, John started his career as an optical engineer rising to leadership roles of President and COO of Edmund Optics Inc., Divisional President of Zygo Corporation and most recently as Senior Partner at HighPath Partners. John has also served on numerous boards and committees to include AIA Board President. John received the prestigious AIA Achievement Award in 2012 for his contributions to the machine vision industry. He is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Physics and Wharton Executive Development Program.
